Setting Goals for the Year Ahead
Following last month’s great networking event at Park Place, we’re starting off the new year with a session on Value-Based Goal Setting, to be led by Bill McAndrews. After the presentation there will be ample time for people to network with one another. Whatever your current employment status, setting good goals is a strategy for life that stands the test of time. Any who are interested in continuing the process of developing plans based on their personal goals will be welcome to attend follow-up workshops on this topic.
Industry Panel on Wednesday, 2/24: The Professional Networking group will present an Industry Panel with representation from a variety of career areas.
On March 16th, our meeting will feature a special presentation on ‘How to Successfully get your Resume Viewed by a Hiring Manager.’

2015-2016 has been designated as "Year for Consecrated Life" by Pope Francis. It celebrates the many groups of religious women and men who serve the church. The film, "Women & Spirit: Catholic Sisters in America", is a 54 minute documentary that gives an overview of the history of women religious in the United States and their contributions to the growth of the country. It tells the story of sisters as pioneers, instritution-builders, educators, healthcare professionals, innovators and courageous advocates for justice in all realms of society. It is narrated by Cokie Roberts and features interviews with historians, journalists and sisters bringing to life the inspiring story of woemn who have greatly helped to shape the American landscape. Using rare archival photgraphs, video, film and new history unearthed through the research process, the documentary is a vibrant journy from the arrival of the first sisters in 1727 to sisters working in surprising ways today!

- Ongoing in-house staff development to enhance instructional skills of teachers
- Accelerated math program for all students starting at the 6th grade
